These Terms and Conditions apply to all purchases from Legacy Skate Towels & Accessories (“Legacy Skate Towels,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order through our website, social-media pages, invoice, or other sales channel, you agree to these terms.

1. Products and Custom Orders

We sell embroidered and vinyl-printed skate towels, personalized products, skate accessories, wheel-cleaning solution, boot laces, and microfiber wheel-cleaning towels.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate names, spelling, colors, sizes, images, and customization instructions. Once a design proof is approved or production has begun, the order generally cannot be changed or canceled.

Minor differences in color, size, thread, vinyl placement, or design positioning may occur because of screen settings, materials, and the handmade nature of customized products. These reasonable variations are not considered defects.

We reserve the right to refuse designs containing unlawful, hateful, offensive, infringing, or inappropriate content.

2. Customer-Submitted Designs

By submitting a logo, image, name, phrase, photograph, or other design, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use and reproduce it.

You are responsible for claims arising from materials you provide. Legacy Skate Towels is not responsible for copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity-right, or other disputes involving customer-submitted content.

We will not sell or reuse a customer’s personal photograph or custom artwork for another customer without permission. We may display completed products for promotional purposes unless you request otherwise in writing.

3. Payments and Pricing

Payment must be received before production begins unless otherwise agreed in writing. Prices, promotions, taxes, and shipping charges may change without notice, but changes will not affect orders already accepted and paid.

Orders may be canceled and refunded if a pricing error, inventory issue, suspected fraud, or other circumstance prevents us from completing the order.

4. Processing and Shipping

Customized items require production time in addition to shipping time. Processing and estimated delivery dates are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.

We are not responsible for carrier delays, incorrect addresses provided by the customer, weather disruptions, theft after confirmed delivery, or other events outside our reasonable control. We will assist customers with eligible carrier claims when possible.

If we cannot ship within the promised timeframe, we will provide notice and any cancellation or refund rights required by applicable law.

5. Returns, Exchanges, and Order Problems

Because personalized and made-to-order products cannot normally be resold, customized products are final sale unless they arrive damaged, defective, or materially different from the approved order because of our error.

Problems must be reported within seven calendar days of delivery at orders@legacyskatetowels.com. Include the order number and clear photographs of the product and packaging. We may provide a replacement, repair, store credit, or refund depending on the circumstances.

Normal wear, incorrect customer-provided information, approved spelling or design choices, improper washing, misuse, and reasonable color or placement variations are not considered defects.

Unused, non-customized accessories may be returned within 14 days of delivery, subject to prior approval. Products must be unopened, unused, and in their original condition. Shipping charges are generally nonrefundable unless the return resulted from our error.

6. Product Care

Customers must follow all care instructions. Towels decorated with embroidery or heat-transfer vinyl should be washed and dried according to the instructions provided with the product.

Damage caused by bleach, excessive heat, harsh chemicals, ironing directly over vinyl, improper washing, normal wear, or failure to follow care instructions is not covered.

7. Wheel-Cleaning Products

Wheel-cleaning solution and microfiber cleaning towels must be used only as directed and for their intended purpose. Test the solution on a small area before full use.

Keep cleaning products away from children, pets, eyes, skin, food, flames, and unintended surfaces. Do not ingest the solution. Do not apply it to bearings, skate boots, flooring, or other materials unless the product instructions specifically permit that use.

Customers must ensure that wheels are completely clean, dry, residue-free, and properly reassembled before skating. Stop using the product if it causes damage, irritation, discoloration, or an unexpected reaction.

Legacy Skate Towels is not responsible for damage or injury caused by misuse, failure to follow instructions, use on incompatible materials, improper skate maintenance, or skating before equipment is safe and dry.

8. No Performance or Safety Guarantee

Our products do not guarantee improved skating ability, equipment performance, accident prevention, or protection from falls or injuries. Roller skating involves inherent risks, and customers are responsible for inspecting and safely maintaining their skates and accessories.

9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

Products are provided subject to any warranties and consumer protections required by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legacy Skate Towels disclaims warranties not expressly stated in writing.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Legacy Skate Towels will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or misuse of our products.

Our total liability relating to an order will not exceed the amount paid for the affected product, except where applicable law does not permit such a limitation. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend and hold Legacy Skate Towels harmless from claims, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of a product, violation of these terms, or unauthorized use of designs, logos, images, or other content submitted with your order.

11. Intellectual Property

Legacy Skate Towels’ logos, branding, original designs, photographs, website content, and product descriptions may not be copied, reproduced, resold, or commercially used without written permission.

Purchasing a product does not transfer ownership of our intellectual property or grant permission to reproduce the design.

12. Governing Law and Changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless another law must apply.

We may update these terms periodically. The version in effect when an order is placed will apply to that purchase.
