Closed in April 2025 due to structural damage (primarily roof issues), the rink was purchased by Curtis and Ramona Pouncy, the owners of The Rink in Chicago. It is currently undergoing renovations and is expected to reopen under new ownership While the Glenwood location is temporarily closed for repairs, local skaters still have several nearby options for indoor roller skating: Tinley Park
